"Save The Turtles" Auction Fundraiser

March 21, 2004

Mount Baker Community Club

2811 Mt Rainier Drive S. - Seattle

Tickets are $40/each

The goal of the 2004 event will be to finish the education center and continue to support turtle-saving efforts in Costa Rica. Last year, over $35,000 was raised to help build a sea turtle education center and medicinal garden at Estación Las Tortugas in Costa Rica and provide much-needed funds to support the work done to save the leatherback sea turtle from extinction.

With your help, the poaching rate this year was reduced to less than 1% (from 30% poached in 2000)
